2024年6月18日，世界生态设计大会设计可持续发展峰会在维也纳举行，会上举办了2024世界生态设计大会全球青年领袖奖颁奖典礼。2024世界生态设计大会全球青年领袖奖旨在表彰和支持在可持续发展和生态设计领域做出卓越贡献的青年领袖，同时鼓励他们在创新、可持续性和环境保护方面的倡导和行动。该奖项于今年3月启动招募以来，收到众多国家和地区的优秀青年申请，生态设计领域重要国际组织、全球生态设计领军企业以及知名学者也积极推荐人选。经评审，来自中国、奥地利、泰国、孟加拉国、阿富汗、巴西等多个国家的20位优秀青年入选，他们在工业设计、投资管理、数字科技、文化展览、新能源、文旅产业、材料制作等领域做出了杰出贡献。
The 2024 World Eco-Design Conference: Designing for Sustainable Development was held at the United Nations Headquarters in Vienna on 18 June 2024, where the Award Ceremony of 2024 Global Youth Leader Awards of World Eco-Design Conference was also held. The 2024 Global Youth Leader Awards of World Eco-Design Conference aims to recognize and support young leaders who have made outstanding contributions in the fields of sustainable development and ecological design. It encourages their advocacy and actions in innovation, sustainability, and environmental protection. Since its launch in March this year, the award has received applications from exceptional youth across numerous countries and regions, with endorsements from major international organizations in ecological design, leading global companies, and renowned scholars. After rigorous evaluation, 20 outstanding youths from countries including China, Austria, Thailand, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Brazil, among others, have been selected. They have made remarkable contributions in industrial design, investment management, digital technology, cultural exhibitions, new energy, cultural tourism industries, materials production, and other fields.
